Urbanwalking operates in and around the western-european country of Belgium. Years of idiotic spending by mostly the government have seeded the countryside with unused buildings, bridges, ditches and a combination of both. This offers a lot of abandoned constructions to visit obviously. Add a huge array of heavy industry that closed down during the 1970s and 80s as all production moved to far-eastern countries to this total to get an even higher number of possible locations to visit, explore and document. So that is what we do...
